Our car broke down and, as always, we call our favorite shop Back Shop Auto. They were able to help us arrange towing so they could diagnose. They called us and let us know the engine seized, but there was a recall at the dealer for the engine. So they again helped us get it towed to the dealer. I called back to pay them for the towing and they asked how It was going with the dealer.They were helpful, knowledgeable, and great to work with. They didn’t end up charging us a diagnostic fee either. These guys are experts and always give us a fair price for an honest job. And they all have a good sense of humor so it’s fun to work with them. We have been using them for years and wouldn’t have it any other way. Travis, Alex, Greg - you’re all rockstars!

I own a 2016 Ford Explorer with just short of 200k miles and needed to have major maintenance done! I’ve always dreamed of having a vehicle that could go for 500k miles! I chose Back Shop Auto for the task of making this dream a reality based on a recommendation from my dear friends at Advanced Body and Paint! I dropped off my vehicle the night before my appointment and was able to pick it up the following day! Spark plugs replaced, fluids replaced including brake,transmission, and transfer case fluid, fuel induction and injecting cleaning, serpentine belt replacement, and an oil change! Over the last month I’ve driven over 2k miles and can say my Explorer is running as well as it ever has! Many thanks to Travis and the crew at Back Stop Auto for helping me closer to the dream of having a vehicle that makes the 500k miles!

This is the best Auto shop! They totally helped fix our sons car- we had gotten a quote somewhere else and BACK Shop was 100% better priced - we definitely recommend them!! Very fast and efficient! We will definitely use them everytime we need any work done!!

Backshop Auto has been my go-to auto shop in Utah due to the high-quality and high caliber people that work there. They’ve always given good solid advice when it comes to needed repairs and not so needed repairs. They are truly customer oriented and they are the only ones that I will take my vehicles to.

do you guys do repairs for 1986 ford f-150 the driveshaft fell off and it’s been sitting for almost a year

I would have given five stars, but here is why I didn’t. Yes, these guys are super friendly, got us in quick and I felt like the price was reasonable. What I did not like: my husbands a salesman for a large company and happened to be driving by the shop on the way to his warehouse. Looked over to see if he could spot the truck and if it was done. Nowhere in sight. Drive a little farther down the road and there in the Drive thru line at Wendy’s is our truck. Lunch is not a test drive. It’s called unauthorized use. I didn’t say you could pick up lunch in my truck. Test drive, yes. Lunch, no way. This is clearly personal use of my vehicle not a test drive. My husband didn’t even go in when I went into pay because he was pissed. Here’s the kicker, when you voice your frustration and they act like they don’t care. “I didn’t know that happened.” No but I’m telling you it did. I don’t leave a lot of reviews and I can excuse a lot of things but the I don’t care customer service doesn’t work for me. If you even acted like you cared I may have considered coming back but you didn’t care probably because your fries were getting cold in the back office. Hopefully you were more truthful with the repairs than the “test drive”.

They repaired my 95 Tacoma chassis and no squeaky sounds anymore.
